Job Description
  • The focus of the HR Director position is threefold:


  • Provide HR leadership and hands on execution to ensure a highly successful post-close integration of the recently acquired business
  • In partnership and alignment with the regional business leaders in each business unit and the global HR executive team, establish and manage a uniform HR service delivery model that meets the growing HR service requirements across the region
  • As a member of senior HR leadership team, be a high-impact contributor in the development and implementation of the company's global people strategy that reflects the needs of all business units within the region
  • The role reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and indirectly to the respective senior regional business leader within the business units


  • As a business partner, this position is accountable for formulating, recommending and implementing people and organizational change strategies in support of regional business goals and for directing (either directly or indirectly) the Human Resources function within each business
  • Central to this position's success is a high degree of team participation, client centricity, change management and cross cultural effectiveness


  • The scope of the role includes partnering with global Talent Management and Total Rewards centers of excellence to ensure alignment of strategies and processes for acquiring and developing high caliber talent, creating a culture of high performance and driving organization effectiveness, leadership development and succession readiness
  • The position will also play a key role in future acquisition due diligence and integration initiatives within the region



  • Provide HR leadership and hands on execution to ensure a highly successful post-close integration of the recently acquired business
  • Provide regional Human Resources leadership, ensuring the development, implementation and measurement of people and organizational strategies and tactics in support of the business goals
  • As a member of the HR Leadership team, contribute to the development and implementation the company's global people strategy, HR policies and global HR initiatives
  • In collaboration with business and HR colleagues, design and execute regional and local solutions in the areas of workforce planning, talent management, leadership development, succession planning, organization structure, business process improvement, performance management, global teaming, rewards and recognition, communications, and staffing
  • Partner in enhancing the talent bench through effective staffing, development, and retention programs
  • Be a trusted partner and coach to leaders and provide guidance to all employees and managers on all areas of Human Resources
  • Foster a highly engaged workforce, consistent with the core values of the company
  • Drive organizational effectiveness through change management and organizational development initiatives
  • Staff, develop, and retain a strong HR team
  • Build highly productive relationships up, down, and across the company



    Key Experiences and Credentials


    Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years in HR business partner leadership roles within manufacturing-based environments and preferably within a global, matrix environment
  • Experience managing an HR team and supporting geographically dispersed business groups
  • Solid strategic thinking and execution skills, with a willingness to “roll up the sleeves
  •  Ability to effectively partner with business and HR stakeholders across in multiple business units, regions and cultures in a global, matrix environment; strong influence skills
  • Well rounded HR generalist experience with demonstrated competence in talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, change management, and driving cultural change
  • Successful track record of implementing HR strategies to achieve business goals with tangible measures of success
  • Experience effectively working with leaders and employees at all levels of an organization to develop and implement programs that drive performance and attract and retain top talent
  • Strong understanding of the business, its levers for growth, its change dynamics, and its critical success factors
  • Ability to analyze complex data, understands business implications, recommend appropriate solution
