    The Role

  • The objective is to bring a strong international executive on board with important impact on the IT and on the business

  • This individual is responsible for ensuring the alignment of IT objectives and programs to company goals and then delivering on these goals, establishing the IT group as an equal and trusted partner with the business, and overseeing all business-facing and technical functions

  • In addition to these, the Company also wishes to appoint a CIO who brings depth of understanding and experience of digital technology

  • An energetic, enthusiastic, results-oriented manager, capable of adding significant value to the existing management team as well as formulating and implementing strategic business decisions


    Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the overall business alignment of the global IT Strategy and for influencing strategic business decisions regarding the use of technology to support current and future business initiatives
  • Enable the successful communication and delivery of the digital strategy through/across the wider functional matrix
  • Provide overall leadership and direction of the IT organisation - create and communicate a vision and strategy
  • Design an appropriate IT operating model, departmental structure and staff deployments to maximise effectiveness
  • Ensure the resilience, stability and security of operational systems and processes is maintained and that service is delivered to agreed and defined levels of service and within agreed budgets
  • Provide strict financial management of IT operating costs, staffing, and capital investment budgets, ensuring "best value" solutions and services
  • Identify and mitigate all IT related risks
  • Build strong relationships with all divisions of the company domestically and internationally and to ensure that technology effectively meets the needs of its users
  • Serve as spokesperson to internal and external constituents regarding information technology
  • Keep current on technological advances within the industry

  • Assesses the relative impact of emerging technology to strategic business needs and interprets their meaning to the senior organization leadership team
  • Underpin the growth of the business through the application of customer-focused technologies and data analytics to drive growth, improve decision-making and enhance the customer experience


    Professional Experience

  • Extensive experience gained in multinational environment
  • International, multi-country experience
  • Proven track-record in CIO / CTO function - outstanding management abilities and a demonstrated track record of leadership
  • State of art, best practice experience in most preferably complex / high-tech driven business
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience on Digital Technology (website, Mobile apps, social media), DATA analytics and Customer relationship
  • Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, growth-oriented and highly complex environment
  • Full understanding of IT strategy, processes and standards for architecture, development, operations, and security, with experience of selecting and implementing the processes, methods and governance appropriate for the business
  • Strong understanding of emerging technology trends
