Job Description
  • Leadership Stage Executive Solutions is currently recruiting for a Director - HR for a automobile manufacturing company
  • The Director- HR reports into the Managing Director and will lead, guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources strategies, services, policies and programs for the entire company
  • As the strategic business partner, working alongside the MD and Board of Directors, you will set the HR agenda in order to meet the requirements of the Stakeholders

  • This role will have overall responsibility for developing organisational and financial strategies for Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Training & Development, Performance Management, Health & Safety, Rewards & Retention, Ethics & Compliance introducing HR objectives in line with organisational objectives
  • Whilst managing a team of HR professionals, you will lead the HR agenda working closely with all functions, including a fast paced 24/7 operations environment, to establish department accountabilities

  • Of graduate/post graduate/Doctorate calibre, you will be a commercially focussed senior HR generalist with business partnership mind-set, demonstrate well-honed leadership skills with significant experience of driving business transformation through a period of cultural change
  • A background in manufacturing or a similar fast paced operational environment is essential and first-hand experience of leading on significant learning initiatives

  • You will be a credible, personable and proactive individual who fosters relationships, with extensive experience of highly effective leadership and organisational skills across a range of cultures and a hands-on operational approach
  • An experienced and mature Employee Relations specialist is sought with a proven track record of working within a unionised environment having led national pay level negations
  • You must be passionate about Human Resources, demonstrate emotional intelligence, have effective influencing and communication skills, be creative yet process driven and a real team player
