Job Description
  • The Senior Director Product Marketing will orchestrate demand generation campaigns driving awareness, preference and pipeline worldwide
  • The Product marketing leader will be responsible for the development, execution and optimization of outbound demand generation campaigns, launching programs that drive awareness, preference and pipeline for Our leadership Stage Executive solutions client company
  • The high level task is to drive the campaign strategy, leading cross functional teams to execute around a global framework in support of thought leadership, demand generation, customer marketing, content marketing and product launches to a variety of customer and prospect segments
  • In addition to the above this person will take lead responsibility for defining, implementing and measuring performance of key global campaigns


    Key Areas of Focus and Accountabilities

    Global Campaigns Strategy and Execution


  • Responsible for evaluating and identifying the optimal mix of program tactics to drive revenue
  • This is likely to consist of a mix of events, webinars, account based marketing programs, third party sponsorship programs and other relevant tactics
  • Work along side a large organization of stakeholders including corporate marketing, field marketing, product and partner marketing to define and execute marketing strategy that support business plans and revenue objectives
  • Define centralized integrated campaign strategy and success criteria that supports corporate awareness, product and sales goals, while allowing for regional customization and integration of local programs activities
  • Accountable for the design and development of an integrated marketing plan and blueprint to align with the buyers journey and underlying content strategies and plans - aligned to drive growth and demand
  • Manage the schedule of the integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring coordination with cross ¬≠functional marketing teams and sales teams
  • Establish repeatable process and best practices for integrated marketing campaign development and management
  • Measure the performance of assigned campaigns using agreed upon metrics and course correct as campaign Product Launch Management support
  • Lead program management of cross functional activities to support new product launches including the regular cadence of reviews and tracking documentation


    EXPERIENCE

  • Proven capability in B2B marketing with particular emphasis on large enterprise
  • Worked in organizations tasked with marketing to executives and influencers in the Enterprise
  • Metrics oriented
  • Has driven multiple billions in qualified marketing leads throughout his/her career
  • Relevant product categories include security, business intelligence, ERP
  • Known for being driven by business results
  • We want a business leader, not just a functional executive
  • Marketing experience in support of (B2B) enterprise sales (our key strategic challenge is to upgrade our capability to sell enterprise security); consumer experience would be a plus
  • Understanding of customer needs, our technology, differentiation of our offerings (vs
  • someone only experienced with marketing tool development but little understanding of the products/technology)
  • Ability to develop a compelling story through campaigns as we re-launch Symantec as a leader in Securing the Cloud with our Integrated Cyber Defence platform
  • Judgment to trade-off across marketing dollars/programs to ensure we have the right spend in the right areas (direct marketing, advertising, PR, etc)
  • Security industry knowledge and experience
  • Excellent people manager to develop the marketing team
